Dear Mrs. Treon:

As we discussed on the phone today, I am enclosing a copy of the affidavit received by the Committee which pertains to some of the information you have provided about the phone incident involving Lee Harvey Oswald at the Dallas Jail.

To help us include the most accurate and complete information in our report, would you please read the affidavit and let me know the following information.

1.  Did you give the information in the affidavit? If so, when and to whom? Was the affidavit ever signed by you and notarized?

2.  Is the information contained in the affidavit correct and accurate? If not, please indicate on the affidavit itself any inaccuracies or misstatements.

When you have completed making corrections on the affidavit, would you please return it to me as soon as possible.

If you have had any further thoughts on this information since our phone conversation, please let me know. I can be reached by phone at (202) 225-7853. On behalf of the Committee, I would like to thank you for all of your time and assistance in this matter.
